Purpose of the American Religion Image Library:
To provide images and illustrative text for the instructional needs of teachers of American religion.
Using the Library: The library offers TWO ways to locate images:
Browse the images by subject
Click on any of the seven subject buttons on the left button bar
Search the library by entering search terms
Click on the top "search" button on the left button bar
Copyright Issues:
All images have copyright release permission granted for the purpose of classroom teaching ONLY.
Other uses may be granted by the institution or individual that contributed the image.
Copying the Image: images may be retrieved by following these steps
Locate the desired image in the small, "thumbnail" form
Put the mouse pointer on the image and click once
The full-sized image will appear on a new screen
Save the image by clicking on "file..save as" in your Internet browser
