Directory of Bibliographers for Divinity

All requests for purchase by the Divinity Library are submitted to the Director’s Office where they are authorized for purchase or re-directed to the appropriate bibliographer for due considerations suitable selection(s) for the given program area. If a request comes under a broader interpretation for the Divinity Collection, the final decision rest with the Director. Only rarely is request from another division turned down, and only then if it is deemed totally inappropriate for the Divinity Collection; there are occasions, however, when a request may have to e place on hold during a season when funds are short. In such instances the person submitting the request will be notified of the delay. As a rule, faculty requests from any sector of the University which are classed within the BL-BX range are authorized and funded immediately for housing in the Divinity Library.
