Art of Sadao Watanabe
The Divinity Library is pleased to have recently received three pieces on loan from the Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery. All three pieces are compositions by the Japanese artist, Sadao Watanabe, and are from the Herman D. Doochin Collection, donated to the Fine Arts Gallery in 1992.
In the south wing of the Divinity Library entrance gallery is “Christ with the Woman at the Well” (1974). In the north wing are “Noah’s Ark” (1979) and “The Last Supper” (1973).
