Search Results in ATLA Religion Database
Results List
Once you've performed a search, your results will show up in a list underneath the search boxes. Each item in the list includes brief information about the work, including the title, the author(s), type of publication, and other publication information.
If the item is a journal article or essay within a book, the journal or book within which the work appears will be indicated as Source, and the issue (if it is a journal article) and page numbers will also be provided. If the item is a book, publication information for the book will be provided.
Detailed Information
For more detailed information about an item in the results list, select the title. The full record for the item will appear. Some records may include an abstract (brief summary) describing the work. Clicking on the subject links or the author links will execute a new search on the terms in those particular fields.

- PDF Full Text and HTML Full Text: Some records will have "PDF Full Text" or "HTML Full Text" links. Select them to get full text.
-- records without "PDF Full Text" or "HTML Full Text" links will have a "find it@VU" button. Select this button to see if online full text is available from another source. If full text isn't available, the "find it@VU" menu may present links to search Acorn and WorldCat for a print copy of the item, as well as other possibilities under the "More Options" link.
