The Divinity Library has a very limited number of study carrels that may be assigned, typically for fixed periods of less than a semester. Requests for a carrel should come through the Divinity School Dean's office, or from the GDR office.
These carrels are generally used for things such as: graduate qualifying exams; language exams; work space for visiting faculty or scholars; special projects supported by the Divinity School, Graduate Department of Religion or the Divinity Library.
Availability of carrels may vary, assignments will be made on a case by case basis. For further information, please contact Donna Smith.
