Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy
Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy (1888-1973)
was a German Christian theologian and close friend of FR. At the age of sixteen
he converted to Christianity. During the First World War, both FR and Rosenstock-Huessy
served on different fronts and a correspondence developed. While Rosenstock-Huessy
attacked Judaism, FR came to its defense. The letters were collected and published
in English (Judaism Despite Christianity, by Rosenstock-Huessy, Birmingham,
1969).
